The simple question format makes prompt building incredibly simple, but it is the multi-layered responses where the power lies.
I was able to search for specific topics with sources. Instead of throwing random information, Perplexity shows where the information is taken, from its source, and I'm able to verify if the source is from a reliable website. While searching for writing content or searching about certain research topics finding sources is almost important and Perplexity does it better. It's easy to use on PC and Mobile and its UI is very user friendly. Perplexity can be used and relied up on everyday for extensive search and writing.
In this AI Tool i have noticed that this tool gives the urls that will give you the exact summary about the topic that you search for and provide you the source from which you can get more details about it not like the other ai tools which give you only response and not provide the source from where it got the data and summarize it.its solutions can be integrated easily on the platform.It is easy to use you just need to write your query and it will provide you the solution ,you can implement the solutions provided from it .I used this software frequently whenever i need accurate and fast solutions.Till now i have taken the help from their customer support and got the right guidance and support.
I do not like that is programmed to follow a certain ideology that is very left. Test with the topic eg open border policy. The systems prefers that the user agrees with it. That seems pure ideology to the left. You.com is far more neutral realizing where it comes from.
So how do the companies who have posted the imformation that this app collects, survive? I the sources sites don't get eyeballs and the resulting ad dollars, how do they keep providing the content so crucial to this app?
Perplexity does assemble the available information from search engines, but the search results are very poor. It isn't Perlexity's fault, it is the fault of the online information itself being false. During a sizable test of Perplexity it was found that its answers were incorrect, plus it copied-pasted information that was way-way-bogus. The bogus information is only found on garbage websites (which are often ranked high), and is not found on professional and technical websites (which are often ranked low). A person would find much better information by simply using DDG or Google, and simply scroll down to find websites that have legit information.
